For men : Cut hair every four to six weeks. The top of the head can be kept as short as possible, i.e. from one inch above the ears and above as short as possible. And from the tip of the ear below any length that is comfortable. This is due to the sebaceous glands (oil glands) that are very thin on the top of the head. For women: Cutting hair can be done seasonally, once per season: Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, Fall Equinox, and Winter Solstice. Use a blunt snip-cut technique when the hair is wet. Proper brushing is another spoke in the wheel. See our article on correct brushing techniques. We recommend using only Morrocco Method brushes. Daily use of the scalp massager is also a very good habit. We recommend using it in the shower after shampooing and then following through using it on the entire body for stimulation. You can keep one by the computer, desk, and the car for stressful driving conditions - any place one needs stimulation and relaxation. As we are all creatures of habit, it's best to set good habits daily and then therein, automatically, so one does them daily and effectively. Diet, another spoke, is quite simple. Eat live food and produce live cells or eat dead food and produce dead cells. Hair and skin are pure protein, so the diet needs to contain live, healthy, protein-based foods. Another spoke is exercise. Any exercise to stimulate the blood and airflow is excellent, such as walking, yoga, chi-gong, tai-chi or simply going to the gym or joining an exercise class.
